I'll be demonstrating my Python code using an IDE called "PyCharm." Students with a Jeffco student email account can register for free IDE downloads (link https://www.jetbrains.com/community/education/#students/) from the PyCharm developer company - JetBrains. These free IDE downloads include PyCharm, and some other popular IDEs such as Intelli-J. Else, they can download the PyCharm Community Edition (CE) (link https://www.jetbrains.com/pycharm/download/?section=windows) for free. If students are utilizing the second option (e.g., PyCharm CE), they have to scroll down the page to see the CE download button. The first option is the professional edition, for which they must purchase a license.
